Medusa's Tears is a fictional Gin Liqueur product formed from a play on words between mythical legend Medusa's name and the phrase "BEST STONE COLD" as in an icy cold beverage. Medusa turns her victims to stone with one glare and this gin liqueur tastes best when poured over ice. The company would also then provide a gimmick of marble ice stones when you purchase the bottle in the gift pack! The liqueur itself is coloured ice blue with edible sparkles. The illustrations are inspired by Rockabilly tattoos, Freda Carlo's paintings and the South American "Day of the dead" imagery. The snake imagery proved deliciously daring.
